Stipend of the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany
Dear students of physics and electrical engineering,
I just found out that our university grants research
stipends to highly qualified students who just finished
their diploma. The stipend which is for a period
of two years, should enable students to work towards
their PhD degree. An official employment
afterwards is possible.
The stipend is 613 Ђ per month (about US$ 540) and
can be increased by another 200 Ђ by an extra contract.
I would be happy to welcome first class students
(among the top 10% of their class) in my group.
We work on the new and fascinating field
of THz technology including THz spectroscopy,
THz imaging and THz communications.
In particular THz spectroscopy on biomolecules
is an extremely hot topic and a just emerging
field of research.
